Job description

Title: Parking Clerk
Location: State College Municipal Building
Starting Hourly Rate: $19.81
Position includes Competitive Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance), 401 Employer Match Pension Plan, paid vacation, holidays, sick time plus additional benefits to be discussed during the interview process.
REQUIREMENTS:
The Parking Clerk is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Borough parking office, which includes maintaining parking records and preparing parking reports. This includes ticket records and revenue as well as rental income and other revenue from parking facilities. The position requires steady contact with the public, as well as recording, reconciling, and accounting for cash and other receipts. Work is performed under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED; supplemented by some administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
