Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking an enthusiastic Account Manager to join our sales team. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping to ensure significant business growth over the next three years. You will work closely with existing customers to develop integrated thermal management solutions, drive revenue growth, and maintain strong customer relationships. This is a remote, home-office-based position. Candidates must currently reside in California and be able to engage in frequent face-to-face customer meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales targets established by Sales Leadership.
  • Grow existing accounts while developing new business opportunities and relationships across customer organizations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer markets, competitive landscapes, and industry trends, including long-term growth projections.
  • Create and execute account strategies to increase customer penetration and expand sales of Boyd Thermal by Eaton products and services.
  • Establish strategic goals and tactical plans that support sustained business growth.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and business development activities to build relationships and win new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with customer engineering and procurement teams to define product requirements and support solution development with Boyd Engineering.
  • Present products, prototypes, and solutions to customers, highlighting Boyd Thermal by Eaton's technical capabilities, materials expertise, and manufacturing strengths.
  • Manage the quotation process, including gathering technical and commercial requirements, reviewing specifications, and coordinating with Sales Operations and Estimating teams.
  • Handle commercial discussions related to pricing, contracts, payment terms, shipping requirements, and customer concerns.
  • Partner with Sales Operations to monitor project progress and ensure customer milestones and production schedules are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, customer intelligence, and business activity within Salesforce CRM, providing regular updates to management.

Basic (required) Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical account management, sales, program management, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Eaton will not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position, including CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, or related programs.
  • No relocation assistance is available. Candidates must reside in California to be considered. Active-duty military service members are exempt from the geographic residency requirement
