Responsible for assisting guests from the moment they enter the pub until they leave in a multitude of ways. We are a team and expect team members to assist with all responsibilities in the front of house and occasionally back of house (running food, expo, dishes).
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that the bar & pub are fully stocked, kept clean and tidy.
Attention to detail and knowing the menu.
Set the bar and tables to help prepare the pub before opening.
Greet and seat guests when needed and knowing how to use reservation software.
Serve guests with the following:
  • Giving advice on menu selections.
  • Assist the guest with ordering from point of sale system on their phone.
  • Serving the guest.
  • Clear the bar top and tables following sanitizing instructions.
  • Assist the guest make a payment on their phone or if needed collect payment on the handheld device.
Clear the bar top and tables after service, disinfect, and reset for the next guests.
Ensure the bar & pub area is kept clean and sanitized at all times
Close and clean the bar & pub area and ensures that it is ready for the next day.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the manager on duty.
Adhere to all state/local laws and policies of the pub, regarding the service of alcohol.

Walk, stand, and move about briskly during entire shift.
Reading and writing skills are required.
Hazards may include, but are not limited to slipping, burns, strains, and cuts.
Requires quick thinking and assembly of food orders.
Requires audible communication and hearing skills with employees and guests.
Requires a professional and clean appearance.
Physical agility and dexterity of both hands.
