Job description

Pay Range: Targeted Salary $48,000 annually, based on experience
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required to meet deadlines or support special projects)
Travel: Not required
Position Introduction:
The Assistant to the Director provides leadership and oversight for the administrative operations within the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering in the Gallogly College of Engineering. This role ensures smooth office functions, supports the director, faculty, and staff, coordinates administrative processes, and promotes effective communication among stakeholders.
Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3 years of office management, administrative experience, or related field.

Equivalency/Substitution: Experience or a combination of education & related experience can be considered in lieu of degree. A one-to-one ratio is used to determine the number of years of experience required in place of a degree.
