Job description

The Sales Representative at Summa America plays a crucial role in building and nurturing strong relationships with dealer partners to achieve sales goals and advance strategic business objectives. This individual balances managing existing dealer accounts with developing new business opportunities within the print, sign, and packaging industries. As an individual contributor working within a sales team, the representative supports dealer networks through hands-on training, strategic planning, and brand representation while maintaining alignment with internal teams and company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with dealer partners to drive sales and business objectives
  • Create and execute strategic plans to expand dealer market reach and revenue growth
  • Travel occasionally to dealer locations for training, support, and performance evaluations
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the print, sign, and packaging sectors
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align dealer needs with company strategy
  • Use CRM tools to track dealer interactions, sales opportunities, and performance metrics
  • Prepare and present reports on dealer performance, forecasts, and market trends
  • Represent Summa America at trade shows, dealer meetings, and industry events to enhance brand visibility
  • Support pricing and quoting by maintaining Summa’s quoting tool and assisting Channel Sales Managers
  • Develop proficient knowledge of machine workflow efficiency to provide operational support

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in B2B environments
  • Strong skills in customer relationship management and sales forecasting
  • Proven negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Experience in market analysis and communication
