Test Engineer Summary

We are looking for a Test Engineer experienced in lab testing, test equipment development, and verification methodologies. You will operate independently with minimal supervision and contribute to the technical rigor and collaborative culture at ASG. This role requires both technical depth and strong communication skills to support team and project goals.


Key Responsibilities

Testing & Methodology

  • Design, develop, and implement custom test equipment, fixturing, and instrumentation.
  • Translate system requirements and specifications into formalized test methods.
  • Perform standard device testing (e.g., DOE, GR&R) and data characterization.
  • Execute testing protocols with precision and accuracy.
  • Draft and revise technical documentation, including methods and test scripts.
  • Review test results for quality and compliance.

Safety & Standards

  • Comply with all applicable industry and client safety procedures and training.
  • Apply relevant industry and client standards.
  • Adhere to ALCOA (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, Accurate) principles.

Preparation & Organization

  • Coordinate materials, traceability, and supply readiness with engineering teams.
  • Track and maintain test documentation, materials, issues, and schedules.

Communication & Reporting

  • Present and communicate testing results and issues clearly to stakeholders.
  • Actively contribute to technical team knowledge and verification practices.

Data Analysis & Statistics

  • Apply foundational statistical methods in test analysis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
