Job description

SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Test and Evaluation Manager.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Summary: SEACORP is seeking a Testand Evaluation (T&E) Manager to direct a team of engineers and techniciansin the testing, verification, and validation of U.S. Navy navigation equipment.This role is responsible for the oversight of comprehensive testing protocols,including component-level, system-level, and integration testing, as well asEnvironmental Qualification Testing (EQT). The T&E Manager will manage testschedules and supervise the development of test plans, ensuring all testing isconducted to rigorous requirements and that all Software/System Trouble Reports(STRs) and final test reports are generated accurately and timely.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Technical Leadership & Test Management:
  • Direct a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technicians in the execution of testing, verification, and validation for U.S. Navy navigation systems.
  • Oversee all phases of testing, including component-level, system-level, and integration testing.
  • Lead and manage Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT) efforts to ensure equipment survivability in maritime environments.
  • Supervise the work of developing comprehensive test plans and ensuring all testing is mapped directly to system requirements.
  • Manage the master test schedule, ensuring all project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Quality & Reporting:
  • Supervise the generation, tracking, and review of all STRs and final test reports detailing results and operational readiness.
  • Ensure all testing processes and technical actions adhere to U.S. Navy procedures, drawings, and MIL-STD documentation.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve testing processes to ensure maximum efficiency and quality within the test activity.

Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for test activities with U.S. Navy customers, engineering teams, and industrial partners.
  • Provide technical and programmatic input to Project Managers for contract proposals and Statements of Work (SOW).

Qualifications:
Education:
Engineer Path: Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Software Engineering).
Technician Path: High School diploma or GED; Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or formal military electronics training (Class A or B school) is highly preferred.
Experience:
Engineer Path: At least five to seven years of professional experience in engineering, with a focus on program, project, or technical team management.
Technician Path: At least twelve years of practical experience in electronics testing and maintenance, with at least five years in a management or lead role (IAW Engineering Technician VI standards).
Common Requirement: Ten years of experience working with U.S. Navy Navigation Systems, of which seven must have been performed within the last nine years.
Demonstrated experience in the design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents, STRs, and test reports.
As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
