This opportunity is ideal for a professional with strong SAP testing expertise who excels in integrating SAP and non-SAP systems, building automation frameworks, and driving high-quality testing standards across global teams.


Position Overview

The SAP Test Engineer will play a critical role in supporting an SAP upgrade from SAP HRP 4.7 to 6.0, working collaboratively with functional teams, analysts, and offshore resources.

This role requires hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager, QTP, HPQC, and Selenium, along with strong capability in designing test scripts, executing automation, managing defects, and ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Integrate SAP and non-SAP processes using SOLMAN, QTP, and Selenium.

  • Prepare, execute, validate, and document test scripts using SAP Solution Manager, QTP, and HPQC.

  • Create and maintain test automation frameworks.

  • Review test scripts created by test engineers to ensure testing quality and accuracy.

  • Plan automation test execution, file defects, verify defect fixes, and maintain documentation.

  • Lead an offshore team, establishing direction, creating vision, and motivating team members.

  • Support payroll testing activities and ensure acceptance by internal stakeholders and vendors.

  • Facilitate testing execution and produce detailed test evidence.

  • Manage daily test status reporting in coordination with the testing lead.

  • Collaborate with functional and analyst teams to develop detailed test scenarios.

  • Manage test entry and exit criteria with the testing lead.

  • Review business, functional, technical requirements, and process design documents.

  • Gather requirements using the Quality Center template and upload requirements into Quality Center.

  • Communicate effectively with team members at all levels in a collaborative environment.

  • Strong experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using SOLMAN, QTP, and Selenium.
