Job description

The Onsite Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all temporary employees assigned to the third-party client. This role ensures proper staffing levels, supports daily operations, maintains strong communication between the staffing agency and third-party management, and upholds all safety standards. The coordinator serves as the point of contact for the temp workforce, ensuring compliance, productivity, and a safe work environment. **Bilingual preferred**

Key Responsibilities

Workforce

  • Manage daily check-in/check-out of all temporary employees.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels for all shifts; coordinate with branch offices for last-minute replacements or call-ins.
  • Conduct orientation for new temps assigned at the job site, including workplace rules and job expectations.
  • Assign workers to appropriate departments based on skill, certifications, and production needs.
  • Monitor work performance and relay feedback or concerns to the agency.

Safety

  • Ensure all temps complete required safety training before beginning work.
  • Conduct regular floor walks to monitor safe work practices and PPE compliance.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for safety questions, concerns, and issue escalation.
  • Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions related to temporary staff.
  • Track and distribute personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.

Communication

  • Act as the onsite liaison between the staffing agency and third-party
  • Participate in daily/weekly production and safety meetings.
  • Communicate policy updates, shift changes, job expectations, and performance issues to temps.
  • Bilingual preferred

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • 1–3 years of experience in staffing, or onsite coordination.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling/timekeeping systems.

Working Conditions

  • Dry factory environment with exposure to production floor activity.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and interaction with employees across departments.
  • Occasional overtime, early shifts, or weekend work depending on production needs.
