Role Overview

The Relationship Manager - 3PL within our Temporary Recruitment division plays a pivotal role in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with our end customers. Responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing recruitment delivery, and leading Talent Attraction teams, this role ensures clients receive a high-quality, responsive recruitment service that supports their operational and workforce objectives.

Working closely with hiring managers and internal delivery teams, you will ensure temporary workforce requirements are met efficiently while providing exceptional service and workforce planning support.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship & Account Management

  • Build strong relationships with clients through regular virtual and onsite meetings to understand hiring needs, business challenges, and workforce objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
  • Conduct regular service reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to discuss performance, hiring trends, and future workforce planning.
  • Provide market insight on candidate availability, pay rates, competitor activity, and local labor market conditions.
  • Develop trusted partnerships with hiring managers, HR teams, and operational stakeholders.

Service Delivery & Talent Attraction Management

  • Work closely with clients to secure detailed vacancies and communicate requirements to Talent Attraction teams.
  • Manage and support Talent Attraction teams to ensure the successful delivery of temporary recruitment campaigns.
  • Monitor recruitment performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Track metrics include fill rate, time-to-fill, worker retention, attendance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify recruitment challenges and implement solutions to ensure successful delivery.

Client Retention & Growth

  • Ensure clients receive a consistently high level of service and support.
  • Proactively address customer concerns and change workforce requirements.
  • Work alongside Business Development teams to identify opportunities for account growth and service expansion.
  • Develop long-term partnerships that strengthen customer retention and satisfaction.

Internal Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to Talent Attraction teams.
  • Ensure recruitment activity is accurately tracked and reported through internal systems.
  • Monitor team performance against KPIs and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Talent Attraction, and Leadership teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Market Knowledge & Strategic Advisory

  • Stay informed on labor market trends and workforce developments.
  • Advise clients on attraction strategies, pay rates, workforce planning, and hiring best practices.
  • Support customers in forecasting future workforce requirements.
  • Provide recommendations that improve hiring outcomes and workforce stability.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Relationship Manager, Account Manager, Client Services, Recruitment Delivery, or Staffing role.
  • Experience managing temporary staffing accounts and high-volume hiring activities.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading recruitment delivery or Talent Attraction teams.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problemโ€‘solving abilities.
  • Experience working with ATS, CRM, and workforce management systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastโ€‘paced environment.
  • Commercially focused with a passion for service excellence.
