What is a remote talent recruiter?

Remote Talent Recruiters are professionals who specialize in identifying, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates for job openings, all while working remotely. They typically use digital tools and platforms to source candidates, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process without needing to be physically present in an office. Their role is crucial for companies seeking to find top talent from a global pool, especially in the context of remote or distributed teams. Remote Talent Recruiters must excel in communication, organization, and digital networking. They play a key role in ensuring that companies build strong, diverse, and effective remote teams.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote talent recruiter?

To thrive as a Remote Talent Recruiter, you need a solid understanding of recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and talent evaluation, often supported by a degree in human resources or related fields. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment platforms like LinkedIn, and experience with video interviewing tools are typically required. Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills help set top recruiters apart. These skills are essential to efficiently identify, engage, and secure the best candidates in a competitive and virtual hiring environment.

How does a remote talent recruiter typically collaborate with hiring managers and teams across different time zones?

As a Remote Talent Recruiter, you'll frequently coordinate with hiring managers and team members located in multiple regions, which can pose scheduling challenges. To manage this, recruiters often use asynchronous communication tools like email, Slack, or applicant tracking systems, and schedule regular check-ins at mutually convenient times. Building strong relationships with stakeholders and maintaining clear, proactive communication helps ensure alignment on job requirements, candidate feedback, and interview processes, even when working remotely. Flexibility and good time management are key to succeeding in this collaborative, distributed work environment.

UGC Creator Manager

100% Remote

About the Role

We're looking for a highly organized UGC Creator Manager to own the sourcing and management of creators supporting our paid advertising campaigns.

You'll manage the creator pipeline from sourcing and recruiting through briefs, recording, revisions, and final delivery. You'll work closely with our creative and paid media teams to turn proven scripts, hooks, concepts, and AI-generated ideas into authentic human-recorded UGC at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and recruit UGC creators and actors across different demographics and content styles.
  • Build and maintain a reliable roster of creators.
  • Match creators to specific offers, audiences, and creative concepts.
  • Send scripts and creative briefs and provide clear recording direction.
  • Manage deadlines, deliverables, revisions, and reshoots.
  • Negotiate creator rates and usage rights and coordinate payments.
  • Manage dozens of creators and projects simultaneously while keeping everything organized.
  • Work with the paid media team to understand which UGC is performing and develop variations of winning concepts.
  • Continuously test new creators, formats, and creative approaches.
Ideal Background
  • 2+ years managing UGC creators, freelance talent, creator marketplaces, or performance-marketing creative production.
  • Excellent organizational and project-management skills.
  • Strong communication and follow-through.
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of creators and deliverables.
  • Experience negotiating rates and managing creator relationships.
  • Understanding of Meta and/or TikTok direct-response advertising is highly preferred.
Success Looks Like

Building a scalable UGC production engine that consistently delivers high-quality human-recorded ads for testing—allowing the creative and paid media teams to quickly turn winning concepts into multiple creator and format variations.

The ideal candidate is part account manager, part talent recruiter, and part creative producer—someone who keeps people, projects, and deadlines moving without things falling through the cracks.
