Responsibilities

As an Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of Warehouse Associates (25-28) to ensure efficient operations, maintain safety standards, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. You will be responsible for driving performance, delivering results, and meeting or exceeding defined goals.

You will cultivate a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, providing real-time coaching, motivating your team, and ensuring a collaborative, respectful, and safe work environment. Associates will work in different temp zones including refrigerated (25 to 35°F) and freezer (-20°F).


Qualifications

  • High school diplomas or GED required; additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years of formal leadership experience for teams of 10 or more
  • Proven track record of maintaining a safe work environment and compliance with safety regulations
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team, mentoring, and developing warehouse personnel. Required experience includes:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to motivate and engage a team
    • Experience conducting structured monthly check-ins and on-the-floor observations
    • Experience developing and tracking action plans for team members
    • Ability to delegate effectively and manage change
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including various shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays to support warehouse operations

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential warehouse functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be able to lift, move, and carry 30-40 pounds repetitively upwards of 1,000 times per day. Must be able to lift, move, and carry larger items up to 75 pounds less frequently. The Warehouse Supervisor is frequently required to stand, walk, climb and sit at times in the warehouse. While performing the duties of this position, the supervisor is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. Freezer temperatures: (-20°F) | Refrigerator temperature (25-35°F). The supervisor is also exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the warehouse work environment are typically low to moderate.
