About your role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our Deployment team. This role requires ensuring the smooth operation of the production process, meeting production targets, and maintaining product quality. A strong emphasis on people management skills, effective communication, meeting deadlines, attention to detail, project management, and the ability to collaborate both within and outside of the operation are essential attributes.
What you will do:
  • Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of production workers.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high morale.
  • Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Oversee daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of resources and equipment.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain keen attention to detail to ensure the highest product quality.
  • Implement and enforce quality control processes.
  • Investigate and address any quality issues promptly.
  • Plan and execute production projects, including resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure timely completion.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and cross-functional departments.

Experience you'll need to have:
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a production, manufacturing environment.
  • 4-7 years of people management experience
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent work experience and/or equivalent military experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Experience that would be great to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience and/or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives.
  • Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships with external partners and suppliers.
  • Ability to adapt to changing production demands and priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing team members.
