Description

Job Overview:
 
As the Temporary Recruiter, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, selecting, and supporting the onboarding of qualified candidates across all levels of the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruiting strategies that attract and retain top talent.
 
Success in this role requires strong relationship-building, excellent customer service and the ability to manage multiple requisitions while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
This position will support West Region roles in CA, NV and AZ as assigned. This role will mainly be remote with the occasional meeting in our Irvine, CA office or onsite meetings at some of our properties. Must be located in Southern California. 
 
Compensation: $70K-$75K
 
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client's property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
 
Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt roles, typically supporting numerous requisitions.
  • Partner with leadership and hiring teams to understand staffing needs, support hiring managers, and ensure an efficient hiring process.
  • Support recruiting efforts across multiple states within the market as needed to help balance workload across the recruiting team.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through consistent communication and follow-up throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
  • Source, screen and interview candidates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and leadership teams.
  • Present offers verbally and coordinates the preparation and delivery of written offer letters.
  • Post, manage and oversee job openings across company career sites and external platforms including Indeed and LinkedIn.
  • Maintain and manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate candidate and requisition records.
  • Track recruitment activity and requisition updates using internal reporting tools.
  • Support onboarding activities, including coordination of background checks, new hire documentation, and I-9 preparation.
  • Review and maintain job descriptions and requisition details, making updates as needed in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Attend job fairs and recruitment events as needed to build candidate pipelines.
  • Provide guidance to hiring managers on recruiting processes, workflows and internal procedures.
  • Support internal hiring activities including transfers, promotions and internal candidate communication.
  • Supports in other recruiting activities as needed.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a corporate recruiting or talent acquisition role
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes
  • Strong administrative and technical skills, including experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Smart Sourcing, Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Physical Requirements:
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Frequent use of a computer and keyboard
  • Continuous communication with candidates, associates, managers, and external partners 
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p
