Job Description: Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist
The Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist will support multiple projects within the Large Programs (LPL) team. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless release of parts for large-scale programs, with a strong focus on Bill of Materials (BOM) readiness for both new product introductions and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) products.
The MDM Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring materials are available for procurement and acts as a key liaison between BOM Specialists, Buyers, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the extension of parts across manufacturing plants as required
  • Collaborate closely with BOM Specialists to execute the part release process
  • Coordinate with the Manila Procurement and MDM teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting part availability for place purchase orders
  • Partner with Buyers and BOM Specialists to ensure materials are orderable within the system
  • Track and manage new product releases, working with the NPDI team to address any impacts on large programs
  • Initiate and coordinate BOM release activities with ETO teams across all business units
  • Ensure accurate BOM releases across multiple systems (CPQ, Oracle Fusion, Alice EBS) and across multiple facilities
  • Work with Order Management, Design teams, and MDM teams to resolve discrepancies in material data and BOM structures
  • Monitor, track, and report key metrics related to material release processes, new product introductions, and BOM readiness
  • In-depth knowledge of complex BOM structures, including multi-level assemblies, part dependencies, and configuration management

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Technology,

Requirements
  • 5-7 years of total professional experience
  • 3-5 years in engineering, preferably in electro-mechanical manufacturing environments
  • 2-3 years' experience in cross-functional collaboration across procurement, design, order management, and MDM teams
  • Experience in region-to-region manufacturing transfers, including establishing production capabilities in new locations
  • Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and Engineer-to-Order (ETO)
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in parallel, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes
  • Familiarity with systems such as CPQ, Oracle Fusion, and ERP platforms (e.g., EBS)
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills processes

Travel Requirements
  • Up to 30% travel (domestic and international)
