Job description

Description Oversee the daily operation of assigned pool section. Work is performed under immediate supervisor with exercise of judgement in accordance with established policies, procedures, and techniques. This is a temporary seasonal summer position.

*Preference given for applicants available for the entire summer season. Work hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed for program operation. Key Dates: First review of applications: end of January First set of interviews: February 23 - March 13 Anticipated Start Date: March 16 Training Dates: April 18 - May 12 Aquatics Operation Dates: May 26 - September 7, 2026 Examples of Duties All Areas of Assignment Responsible for checking facilities, equipment, and reporting any issues to the Pool Manager.

Forwards incidents to pool manager, reports problems and exercises diligence and prudence in maintaining maximum safety for all patrons and team. Assists with in-service training programs for seasonal team. Assists with daily inventory of all emergency equipment, office or cleaning supplies, and concessions needed for daily operation.

Monitor employee daily check-in and check-out. Ensures seasonal team submit hours worked in ESS and approve the team's timesheets by the established deadlines. Area of Assignment: Lifeguard Oversees assigned pool team including assigned daily tasks.

Responsible for facility counts ensuring adherence to pool capacity limits. Area of Assignment: Cashier Oversees cash handling and seasonal cashier team including picking up money in the morning and counting money at the end of the day. Responsible for facility counts ensuring adherence to gate capacity limits.

Experience and Training Must be 17 years old. Applicants 18 years or older may be assigned to supervise cashiering. Two (2) years of related work experience is required.

Certificates and Licenses Required Must possess a valid Texas driver's license. Pool Supervisors assigned to Lifeguard only: Current certification in American Red Cross Lifeguard Training American Red Cross First Aid and CPR Training will consider other agencies certifications on a case-by-case basis Preferred: American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Certification American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification
