Job Responsibilities
Rich in Native American history, Edisto Beach on Edisto Island is one of four oceanfront state parks in South Carolina.
Edisto Beach State Park features trails for hiking and biking that provide a wonderful tour of the park. The park's environmental education center is a "green" building with exhibits that highlight the natural history of Edisto Island and the surrounding ACE Basin.
Job Purpose and Duties:
Assist in the Camp Exchange, Edisto Beach State Park's retail store, to include selling retail items, assisting with inventory counts, processing customer payments, maintaining store appearance through cleaning and restocking of merchandise, greeting and interacting with customers, and answering customer questions about park facilities.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
Customer service or retail experience preferred.
Additional Comments
Actual Job Location: Edisto Beach State Park
16 hours/week rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.
