  • Review employment applications and pre-hire documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct and monitor criminal background checks, registry checks, exclusion screenings, and other required employment verifications.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry into company systems.
  • Create, maintain, update, and audit employee and field-staff personnel files.
  • Ensure required licenses, certifications, health screenings, training records, and other credentials remain current.
  • Track expiring documents and follow up with employees to obtain updated information.
  • Complete internal audits and prepare employee files for state, federal, payer, and organizational reviews.
  • Assist with employee evaluations, disciplinary documentation, attendance matters, and corrective actions.

  • Support staffing, payroll, nursing, and management departments with employee-related documentation.
  • Assist with developing, implementing, and enforcing Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws, home care regulations, company policies, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Complete general clerical duties, including scanning, filing, copying, emailing, answering telephone calls, preparing correspondence, and organizing records.

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Human Resources certification is preferred but not required.
