This position will be responsible for receiving and processing documents and files. The Processor will reconcile the contents received to a manifest provided. Log in files and documents received, inventory the contents, and add to a box route to a Filing Clerk for further handling. All items delivered must be processed accurately and within NTC's service level agreement with our clients. The Collateral File Processor will be working with original loan files, including negotiable instruments and will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the file.

Essential Functions

  • Intake of Collateral Files

  • Prep documents for scanning.

  • Scanning and managing post scanning document processing.

  • Reconcile Contents in Iron Mountain.

  • Receive mail and reconcile shipments received to a manifest provided and inventory what has been received.

  • Intake and properly process Bad Addresses per contract.

  • Fold and stuff documents.

  • This position will have KPI metrics based on the number of tasks completed as well as the ability to maintain an acceptable error rate.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Experience in title, mortgage, or financial industry preferred.

Physical Demands and Activities

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to communicate. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and constantly operate a computer and other office equipment using hands and fingers for fine manipulation, including keyboarding and mouse use. The employee must occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, such as files and small parcels and/or move boxes weighing up to 30 pounds. Prolonged periods of sitting or standing may be required depending on the nature of the work. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to observe objects at close range in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g. computer screen).
