Job Type: Full-Time/Salaried - Exempt  - $100,000 - $110,000
Job Location: Fully Remote  - 6 month contract

Individual base salary for this role ultimately will depend on numerous factors, including but not limited to experience, job-related skills, relevant education or training, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate could fall anywhere within the stated range. Beyond base salary, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment. This role also is eligible to participate in Kodiak's annual discretionary bonus program, which is dependent on various factors, including individual and company performance.

The Project Manager leads cross-functional teams to deliver complex initiatives across the Kodiak portfolio - on time, on quality, and on budget. This role owns projects end-to-end from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment to the Stage Gate process and providing clear communication of status, actions, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders, including executive leadership.

What will the position do:

  • Provide ownership and strategic oversight of the Frozen and Oatmeal category project portfolios, ensuring prioritization, execution, and delivery of all product launch and change initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through Kodiak’s Stage Gate process, ensuring alignment to project briefs, gate document requirements, and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain project plans and associated reports in Monday.com.
  • Plan for and facilitate cross-functional project and category meetings, drive decision making, and ensure clear accountability for action items.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to cross-functional teams and executive leadership, both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage commercialization processes by following Kodiak product launch and change templates.
  • Partner with external stakeholders, including contract manufacturers, suppliers, and printers to deliver project objectives.

What are we looking for:

  • 3+ years of project management or commercialization experience in food CPG.
  • Experience leading projects through a structured Stage Gate process.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high priority projects and deliver against timelines.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers, packaging suppliers, and external partners.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels, including leadership teams.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated track record of high quality, detail-oriented execution.

Ideally you may also have:

  • Experience operating in a fast paced, high growth CPG environment.
  • Experience managing product lifecycles from concept through commercialization, including post-launch optimization.
  • Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management tools.

  • Medical/dental/vision plans
  • FSA & HSA accounts
  • Eligible to participate in Kodiak’s 401K (after 1,000 logged hours worked)
  • Flexible Time Off
  • Sick Leave
  • Life & ADD Insurance
  • Short Term & Long-Term Disability Insurance
  • Mental Health Therapy Benefit & the Calm app
