Job description

Part Time Bingo Caller / Raffle Seller

Ducks Unlimited Minnesota, Metro Region has an opening for a part-time Bingo Caller/Raffle worker. The Bingo Caller/Raffle worker will be responsible for managing weekly Bingo games at various locations around the south and west metro (Green Isle, Savage, and New Prague), handling any future expansion in legal gambling in the immediate area.

Responsibilities:

  • Calling weekly Bingo Games in accordance with state regulations.
  • Training any new employees or volunteers involved in Gambling.
  • Maintaining inventory records for Bingo paper, and any other gambling equipment or tickets that may be used.
  • Ensuring that all paperwork and Gambling Control Board forms are completely and accurately filled out in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that any and all Bingo Paper, start banks, prize receipts and State forms are saved in a locking safe, locked and bolted to the floor.
  • Making cash deposits within 4 business days that match the profit from the Bingo occasion.
  • Being prepared to step in and help with planning any future Meat Raffles, or opportunities to sell pull tabs in the area.
  • Possessing a friendly and courteous personality when interacting with guests/customers.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Must pass a criminal and financial background check.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screening.
  • Basic math knowledge is required.
  • Prior experience handling cash and calling Bingo is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and inter-personal skills, are required.
