To thrive as a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Part Time employee, you need a solid understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and basic merchandising principles, typically supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. In a CPG Part Time role, you can expect to be responsible for stocking shelves, setting up promotional displays, monitoring product inventory, and ensuring correct merchandising according to company standards. You may also interact with store staff and customers, answer product questions, and report back on stock levels or sales trends. Many part-time CPG employees work independently but coordinate closely with store managers or sales representatives.
