ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Henderson, North Carolina.

Candidate must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (36 hours per week). Must work 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.

Job Description

Join a high-paced, high-acuity Emergency Department with a focus on providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population. The RN in this role will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
  • Utilize clinical judgment to evaluate patient needs and response to treatments.
  • Implement nursing interventions based on patient assessments.
  • Assist in managing trauma, stroke, sepsis, and STEMI cases.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current RN license required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • Experience with Peripheral IVs, stroke protocols, sepsis management, and STEMI procedures is highly desirable.
