  • Review fixed assets, lease and intangible asset continuity schedules and perform related general ledger account analysis, including investigation of unusual balances, fluctuations, reconciling items, and data inconsistencies.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring assigned activities are completed accurately and within established timelines.
  • Ensure financial records adhere to U.S. GAAP accounting standards, SOX controls and internal accounting policies.
  • Support the NetSuite ERP reimplementation by gathering information from Accounting Operations and cross-functional stakeholders, tracking open items, following up on requests, and supporting project deliverables and informed decision-making.
  • Assist with NetSuite data cleansing, migration readiness, and validation of financial statement data integrations through the review of accounting data, mappings, reconciliations, and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
  • Provide support across Corporate Accounting and Accounting Operations, assisting with accounting activities, process improvement initiatives, and special projects based on business needs, team priorities, and ERP implementation requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional accounting designation, such as CPA Canada or U.S. CPA, preferred.
  • 5-7 years of progressive corporate accounting, public accounting, or accounting operations experience.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Hands-on experience using NetSuite ERP is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills within an accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting context.
  • Strong ability to independently manage priorities, meet deadlines, communicate progress, and escalate issues as needed.
