We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting, values patient care, and is passionate about using advanced imaging technology to support accurate diagnoses. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to relocate if out of state. Floating between facilities may be required. Nuclear Medicine Tech Summary of Job Responsibilities:
  • Interview, educate, and ensure patient comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Administer radioactive materials, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure patient safety.
  • Operate and calibrate imaging equipment, position patients, and acquire quality images.
  • Perform routine tests on imaging equipment and maintain radiation safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including administered doses and imaging protocols.
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment.
  • Stay updated on nuclear medicine advancements and pursue continuing education.
  • Ensure adherence to CA DPH regulations, maintain licensures, and participate in required training.

Qualifications:
  • Certification from a recognized accrediting body, such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (N) OR the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • CA DPH RT State License.
  • Venipuncture and Fluoroscopy Certification.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be willing to relocate (out-of-state candidates).
  • 1+ year of experience preferred.
  • Proof of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) if applicable.
  • Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
  • Must have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations, or titers.
  • Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months.
  • Current Annual Health Clearance.
  • Reliable source of transportation.
  • Possible floating between facilities (separate days).
