Job description

Job Summary:

The Senior AI Pricing Analyst leads the development and execution of strategic pricing approaches for AI-enabled products, solutions, and services. This role uses market intelligence, financial analysis, competitive research, customer insights, and advanced pricing models to recommend pricing structures that align with business goals, client value, and profitability targets. The incumbent collaborates across sales, finance, product, and delivery teams to evaluate opportunities, quantify value-based pricing, and guide pricing strategy for new offerings and existing portfolios. This position also applies AI-enabled analytics and automation to improve pricing effectiveness, support faster decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in revenue and margin performance.

Job Duties:

  • Develops and maintains pricing strategies for AI-enabled products, solutions, and services to support revenue growth, profitability, and market competitiveness
  • Builds, analyzes, and refines pricing models using financial data, market trends, customer insights, cost structures, and competitive intelligence
  • Conducts market research and benchmarking to assess pricing trends, competitor positioning, and demand drivers across target industries and offerings
  • Partners with sales, finance, product, delivery, and leadership teams to evaluate deal pricing, proposal pricing, and new offering strategies
  • Supports value-based pricing by quantifying business impact, ROI, and client outcomes associated with AI and advanced technology solutions
  • Analyzes historical pricing performance, win/loss data, margins, and revenue trends to identify optimization opportunities and improve pricing effectiveness
  • Develops financial scenarios, forecasts, and sensitivity analyses to support pricing recommendations and business decisions
  • Creates pricing guidance, tools, templates, and best practices to improve consistency, speed, and scalability of pricing decisions
  • Monitors pricing exceptions, discounting patterns, and commercial terms to ensure alignment with profitability goals and risk considerations
  • Presents pricing recommendations, findings, and strategic insights to stakeholders and senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support launch readiness for new AI offerings, including packaging, positioning, and monetization strategy
  • Applies automation, analytics, and AI-enabled insights to improve pricing processes, reporting, and decision support capabilities
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends, emerging AI solution models, and evolving commercial practices to inform pricing strategy
  • Assists with special projects and strategic analyses 
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required
  • Bachelor's degree with focus in Finance, Accounting, and STEM, preferred
     

Experience:

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in pricing analysis, financial analysis, revenue management, or commercial strategy, required
  • Experience developing pricing models, financial scenarios, margin analysis, and forecasting to support strategic pricing decisions, required
  • Experience conducting market research, competitive benchmarking, and value-based pricing analysis for products or services, required
  • Experience partnering with sales, finance, product, and business leaders to support deal pricing, proposal pricing, and pricing strategy, required
  • Experience applying advanced analytics, automation, or AI-enabled insights to improve pricing processes, decision support, and reporting, preferred
  • Experience supporting professional services, technology, AI, or government services pricing environments, preferred


Certifications/Licensure:

  • Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) or similar pricing certification, preferred
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or finance/analytics certification, preferred
  • Certification in data analytics, business intelligence, or AI-related tools and platforms, preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma certification, preferred

Software:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data manipulation, required
  • Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms, required
  • Experience with SQL, pricing databases, or analytics tools used to extract, structure, and analyze large data sets, preferred
  • Experience with ERP, CRM, proposal, or financial systems that support pricing, forecasting, and commercial analysis, preferred
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, or machine learning tools that enhance pricing insights and decision support, preferred

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable pricing recommendations
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, financial drivers, margin management, and commercial decision-making
  • Ability to conduct market research, competitor analysis, and value-based assessments to support pricing strategy
  • Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and commitment to accuracy in financial and commercial analyses
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, finance, product, delivery, and leadership teams
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and apply automation or AI-enabled approaches to enhance pricing effectiveness
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to travel (up to 10%) as required by business needs

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

National Range: $90,000 - $130,000
Maryland Range: $90,000 - $130,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $90,000 - $130,000
