HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SHIPPING AND LOGISTICS COORDINATOR IN LEBANON, IN
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Shipping and Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Lebanon, Indiana. This individual will be responsible for focusing on posting loads to freight platforms, securing qualified carriers, and ensuring compliance documentation (COI & MC verification) is completed prior to dispatch. The ideal candidate will possess 1+ years of experience in freight brokerage, dispatch, or transportation logistics, experience posting loads on freight platforms, and more listed below.   • Starting at $18/hour and up (based on experience)

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Load Posting & Carrier SourcingPost available loads on freight platforms and load boards
  • Source and negotiate with carriers to secure competitive rates
  • Build and maintain a network of reliable carriers
  • Monitor load boards and respond quickly to carrier inquiries
  • Verify active MC (Motor Carrier) numbers
  • Confirm valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) meets company coverage requirements
  • Review carrier safety ratings and authority status
  • Ensure all compliance documentation is received and properly filed prior to dispatch
  • Confirm pickup and delivery appointments
  • Provide rate confirmations and load details to carriers
  • Maintain consistent communication with drivers and warehouse teams
  • Proactively address delays, service issues, or scheduling conflicts
  • Accurately enter load information into internal systems
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records
  • Track load status from pickup through delivery
  • Assist in monitoring carrier performance metrics

Requirements and Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in freight brokerage, dispatch, or transportation logistics preferred
  • Experience posting loads on freight platforms and working with carriers
  • Strong understanding of MC/DOT compliance and COI verification
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
