Position Summary
An exciting opportunity for a Buyer has arisen in our Group Business Services - Operational Procurement team. As a Buyer, you will provide outstanding service to internal stakeholders by validating and satisfying requirements efficiently and effectively, as well as interface with internal supplier management teams and suppliers.
What you will be doing
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, working across all areas of the business and regions
  • Prioritize, plan and manage daily workflow, purchasing tasks, status and reporting
  • Perform standard purchasing transactional and administrative tasks
  • Ensure supplier selection and sourcing recommendations are in accordance with agreed commodity strategies and commercial frameworks
  • Operate and comply with all purchasing processes, procedures and systems
  • Identify and recommend workflow process efficiency improvements

Basic Requirements:
  • Associate degree with 3+ years of purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, OR
  • Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, OR
  • Master's degree, OR
  • JD/PhD, OR
  • 5+ years of purchasing, logistics or supply chain experience, in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with purchasing and supply chain management
