Dispatcher / Administrative Assistant
Albuquerque, NM
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing and reputable HVAC and Plumbing organization in Albuquerque, NM, to identify a detail-oriented and customer-focused Dispatcher / Administrative Assistant. This role plays a key part in supporting daily office operations, coordinating field technicians, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and enjoys wearing multiple hats throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatching & Scheduling
  • Schedule service calls and create work orders for HVAC and plumbing technicians.
  • Coordinate and dispatch technicians while managing daily schedules.
  • Communicate appointment updates and technician arrival times with customers.
  • Track job progress, parts availability, estimates, and follow-up service needs.
  • Assist with invoicing, job costing, and daily service call documentation.
Administrative Support
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers and visitors.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and manage incoming mail.
  • Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and support office operations.
  • Process purchase orders, packing slips, shipping documents, and other records.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and assist with general clerical tasks.
  • Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within HVAC, plumbing, construction, or other service-based industries.
  • Familiarity with dispatching or service management software such as Aptora Total Office Manager.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
