Job Summary

This position will organize and oversee the daily operations of NTI for the state of Texas. The area of responsibility for this role is broad and requires thorough knowledge of company processes, telecommunications infrastructure construction, and operational best practices. The ideal candidate must be capable of planning and coordinating multiple operational activities across ISP (Inside Plant) and OSP (Outside Plant) programs while ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable project execution. This individual must be an effective leader who can identify opportunities for improvement, develop high-performing teams, and drive operational excellence. Creative problem solving, effective communication, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and monitor daily business operations to ensure efficient execution across all assigned projects and customers.
  • Provide leadership and operational oversight for ISP and OSP construction, installation, and infrastructure programs throughout Texas.
  • Support workforce planning, staffing strategies, resource allocation, and project execution to meet customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of operational procedures and implement improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.
  • Manage procurement processes and coordinate material, equipment, and labor resources across multiple projects.
  • Review financial information and operational performance metrics to support forecasting, budgeting, and profitability goals.
  • Partner with Project Management, Field Operations, Recruiting, Safety, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment on priorities and execution strategies.
  • Support customer relationships, escalations, and operational reviews while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Drive accountability, leadership development, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of data analysis, operational performance metrics, and business reporting.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications construction, ISP/OSP operations, project execution, and workforce management.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety requirements, and customer standards.
  • In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles including operations, supply chain, finance, and resource planning.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders while delivering high-quality service to both internal and external customers.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team development capabilities.
Education and Experience
  • Experience as a Director of Operations or in a similar senior-level leadership position.
  • Experience leading telecommunications, data center, ISP, OSP, or infrastructure construction operations preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with at least 4 years of management experience; Master's degree preferred.
