  • Provide and coordinate day-to-day IT support for staff, including troubleshooting issues and connecting users with WIN or other vendors when additional support is needed.
  • Identify recurring technology issues and work with appropriate partners to improve systems, processes, and the user experience.
  • Coordinate technology projects, upgrades, equipment replacements, new systems, and implementations in collaboration with hospital departments and vendors.
  • Communicate technology changes, planned downtime, system issues, and other important information to leaders and staff.
  • Maintain an inventory and replacement plan for computers, equipment, software, licenses, and other technology assets.
  • Develop and manage the IT operating and capital budgets and make recommendations for technology purchases and investments.
  • Manage relationships with technology, telecommunications, software, and equipment vendors and review services and contracts for performance and value.
  • Supervise and support IT staff, including setting priorities, providing direction, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity and information security efforts with WIN and other partners, including access controls, backups, security awareness, incident response, and protection of hospital information.
  • Serve as the organization's Information Security Officer and support compliance with HIPAA security requirements, hospital policies, and applicable regulations.
  • Coordinate technology needs related to emergency preparedness, system downtime, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
  • Work with leadership and departments to understand technology needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and plan for future needs.
  • Maintain appropriate IT policies, procedures, documentation, and records.
  • Promote responsive customer service, effective communication, confidentiality, accountability, and positive working relationships throughout the organization.
  • Participate in organizational and departmental performance improvement activities as appropriate.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
