Technical Lead / Exec IT Support (New York City)

Our cloud-native platform combines multiple carrier networks into a single SaaS solution, enabling organizations to deliver seamless connectivity while gaining valuable insights into customer and IoT behavior.
We're looking for a Technical Lead / Exec IT Support to join our New York City office and provide hands-on IT support while providing occasional assistance for the telecom team using our office as a test location. As a leader, it is expected to do research and propose potential and implement solutions that can improve the employee operations experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, supporting employees, and working across both traditional IT and mobile connectivity.
How You'll Contribute
  • Provide technical leadership over IT employee operations processes and systems.
  • Provide day-to-day IT support for employees across a global organization.
  • Ensure employees have the hardware, software, and access they need to be productive.
  • Provision, configure, and administer user accounts across business applications.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including laptop deployment, account setup, and equipment recovery.
  • Support Apple devices and peripheral hardware.
  • Administer Google Workspace, identity management, and Mobile Device Management (Mosyle) and other SaaS tools used by employees.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and access issues.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain internal IT documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement new technology solutions.
  • Assist with security initiatives, including SOC 2 compliance and security awareness.
  • Support the company's Mobile Device Management strategy and endpoint security.
  • Supporting our Telecom team in testing SIM cards and mobile devices to validate network functionality and troubleshoot connectivity issues
  • Assist engineering and product teams with telecom-related testing support .
  • Follow up on support requests to ensure timely resolution and excellent customer service.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve internal IT systems, processes and automation.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting macOS and Apple hardware.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management solutions (Mosyle or similar).
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and endpoint management.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience writing automation scripts (Shell or Python) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust security principles is a plus.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Workspace, Zoom, Confluence, GitLab, Adobe, JetBrains, and Zendesk.
  • Supporting SOHO IT solutions for Internet/Wifi setup, management and configuration (Cisco Meraki or similar)
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting telecom or networking environments.
  • Experience working with SIM provisioning or mobile devices.
  • Experience managing hardware logistics or inventory.
  • Experience working in a startup or global organization.
