Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Layer 2 and Layer 3 network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Support ISP-grade services including routing, VLAN segmentation, and basic troubleshooting of CGNAT environments.
- Monitor network performance and respond to outages or service degradation.
- Perform cable management, patching, rack installations, and hardware replacements.
- Assist with POP site support and regional network deployments.
- Install and maintain IP-based camera systems (CCTV).
- Configure NVRs/DVRs and manage camera network integration.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, image quality, and recording issues.
- Ensure proper placement and functionality of surveillance equipment.
- Install and configure VoIP phones and related hardware.
- Support call routing, provisioning, and troubleshooting of phone system issues.
- Work with service providers to resolve escalated telecom issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of phone extensions and system configurations.
- Install and maintain electronic access control systems including card readers, keypads, and badge systems.
- Configure user credentials and access permissions.
- Troubleshoot door hardware, access panels, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with property teams to ensure secure and functional entry systems.
- Respond to service tickets and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance on network and security systems.
- Document configurations, network diagrams, and service updates.

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Networking, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of hands-on experience with network infrastructure, CCTV systems, VoIP, or access control systems.
- Working knowledge of: TCP/IP networking fundamentals, VLANs and switching concepts, basic routing principles, and PoE (Power over Ethernet) systems
- Experience with IP cameras, NVR systems, and structured cabling.
- Familiarity with VoIP systems and SIP-based services.
- Understanding of electronic door access systems and credential management.
- Ability to read basic network diagrams and wiring schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when installing cameras or wireless equipment.
- Ability to crawl, kneel, and work in confined spaces for cabling and equipment installation.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking job sites, and working on a computer.
- Ability to travel regularly between community locations.
Work Environment:
- Combination of field-based and technical support work.
- Work performed in indoor equipment rooms, construction sites, and outdoor environments.
