Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Telecommunications Field Engineer to join a design services company for mission critical systems. This is based in Ashburn, VA. Essential Duties of the Telecommunications Field Engineer: * Assist the project leader with risk management, change management, tracking subcontractor deliverables, scheduling, ordering and receiving project materials, etc.
* Provides technical & administrative information to others working on a project to ensure that the work complies with all basic engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instruction.
* Assist the superintendent with troubleshooting commissioning process issues and tracking manpower.
* Support field installation teams by ensuring operational needs are met in design documentation.
Qualifications of the Telecommunications Field Engineer: * 1+ year of related experience in telecommunication structured cabling projects.
* Familiarity with 2D design tools like AutoCAD or Revit. * B.S. in Engineering or related field.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance in the future.
Compensation for the Telecommunications Field Engineer: * $80,000 - $100,000 (based on experience)
