Job description

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), Security is our highest priority. The AWS Compliance & Security Assurance team is responsible for diving deep into industry requirements, maintaining regulatory and security requirements, and establish strategies to meet current and upcoming customer and regulatory security needs. At AWS' scale, we hire experienced builders to design and operate scalable mechanisms to provide the highest level of assurance to our most regulatory conscious customers.
We are looking for a Program Manager who will own the end-to-end scope, management, and delivery of scalable programs supporting the Security Risk Analytics tam

Operating in a fast-moving environment, your goal will be to improve efficiency to delight customers. You will interact with both technology and business leaders across the organization at all levels. The successful candidate has a solid program management background, experience with industry standards, and a track record of applying project management best practices to drive operational efficiency and program delivery excellence.

This role will manage multiple workstreams while ensuring seamless execution of established processes and programs.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end program management for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring successful delivery against key metrics
- Develop and execute program strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs
- Lead data-driven process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, and timelines.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively
- Deliver regular status updates and presentations to senior leadership
- Establish and monitor KPIs for program performance
- Implement process improvements based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration to optimize resource allocation
A day in the life
A typical day might include: reviewing campaign ticket queues to identify items approaching SLA, pulling data for the weekly WBR submission, drafting an escalation email to a builder team that missed their baselining deadline, updating a campaign tracker, joining a sync with the Continuous Control Monitoring team to align on shared dependencies, and proposing a small process improvement to reduce manual data entry in the metrics pipeline.

Security Risk Analytics (SRA) sits within AWS Security Risk and Compliance (SRC) and operates under the Compliance Operations and Regulatory Response (CORR) organization. SRA is responsible for driving compliance ticketing campaigns, operational metrics, and dashboard analytics that support AWS's audit and regulatory commitments. The team values operational rigor, automation, and delivering results on time, every time
