Our Team is based out of our office in Burlington, Massachusetts, where we work in-office Monday through Thursday each week, and remotely on Fridays. Team members must reside within or be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from our Burlington office.
We are seeking a Boomi ETL Developer intern to develop, implement, and support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions (For example, dashboards, scorecards, operational, self-service delivery) for all functional areas at Wellness Pet using the Boomi integration tool. This individual will play a key role in turning data into actionable information for business performance monitoring and to drive informed business decision-making at all levels within the organization.
What You'll Accomplish
  • Develop ETL pipelines to acquire and load data from internal and external data sources into a data warehouse using Boomi or Microsoft SSIS.
  • Design and develop ETL processes using Boomi.
  • Profile data sources to understand the quality and integrity of data sources.
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting processes.
  • Provide ongoing support for ETL processes.
  • Work with the Wellness BI Team on data extraction/modification requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of ETL processes.
  • Assist in database management and optimization.

Data Management and Quality:
  • Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Monitor data pipeline performance and modify processes as needed.

In addition, for this specific role, we need someone who:
  • 2-3 years of experience in ETL development with Boomi or any other ETL tool.
  • Understanding of SQL Server or Oracle database designs, development, and optimization.
  • Design and develop ETL processes using Boomi.
  • Possess working knowledge of SQL or PL/SQL.
  • Basic understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
  • Adept at developing stored procedures (PL-SQL, T-SQL), functions, queries, and views.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages is required: Java,. Net.
  • Experience working with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Able to interact effectively with business users to decipher business and technical requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

The annual salary range for this position is $31.25 to $33.65 an hour, based on a full-time work schedule, anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational equity. Compensation may vary within that pay range depending on the selected candidate's professional background, experience, operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
