We are a growing pediatric practice serving families across multiple locations. Our mission is to provide high-quality, compassionate care while creating efficient, supportive systems for our providers and staff. As we continue to expand and adopt new technology, we are looking for someone who can lead implementation efforts and ensure our systems truly support day-to-day operations.
Position Overview
The Medical Technology Implementation Specialist will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of technology projects across all clinic locations. This role is responsible for implementing new systems, optimizing existing tools, and ensuring smooth adoption by staff and providers.
This position works under the direction of the Director of Operations and collaborates closely with the administrative leadership team to support operational and technology initiatives across the organization.
Work Schedule: 30-35 hours a week, in office, between 8:00 am-5:00 pm(hours are flexible)
Pay: $20-25 hourly, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Rollouts:
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of new technology initiatives across multiple clinic locations
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and communication strategies
  • Coordinate with clinic managers, providers, IT vendors, and leadership to ensure successful execution
  • Ensure projects stay on track across all sites

Workflow Optimization:
  • Evaluate current workflows in front office, clinical, and billing processes
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement system-based solutions to improve operations
  • Standardize best practices across locations while allowing for necessary site-specific needs

System Configuration & Support:
  • Configure and optimize EMR/EHR systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks or similar platforms)
  • Troubleshoot issues and partner with IT/vendors for resolution
  • Test system updates and new tools before rollout

Training & Adoption:
  • Develop and deliver training for new systems and workflows
  • Support office managers and "super users" in each location
  • Create simple, clear documentation and tip sheets
  • Help teams feel confident and supported during change

Requirements
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in healthcare technology, EMR/EHR systems, or clinical operations
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work across multiple locations and teams
  • Strong communication skills with both clinical and non-clinical staff
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency
  • Must be fully vaccinated, including the annual influenza. If an accommodation is needed due to medical or religious reasons, an exemption form can be requested.

Preferred:
  • Experience in a pediatric or multi-site physician practice
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar systems
  • Project management experience
