Job description

The Veterinary Assistant will support veterinarians and hospital staff in a busy small animal practice, focusing on routine patient care and operational tasks. This position involves assisting with surgeries, administering medications, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring excellent animal care during appointments. The role reports directly to the Veterinarian and Practice Manager and operates on a schedule of four 10-hour shifts without weekend work.

Responsibilities
