The Role

As the IT Associate, you will work to maintain and improve the technical systems at AArete, ensure all employees have the technology they need to complete their work, and that AArete's information is safe.

Work You'll Do

  • Offer exceptional technical support to internal users and troubleshoot problems
  • Provide white-glove support for executive leadership
  • Partner with HR and Accounting to provide a positive onboarding experience for new employees
  • Review systems and software and assess functionality and efficiency of systems
  • Research and implement new systems and software
  • Implement and support security measures, monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements
  • Maintain and manage the Office technology needs
  • Document IT processes and procedures
  • Perform on and off boarding of employees
  • Provide metrics on assigned areas of responsibility
  • Help establish departmental budget and anticipate costs for IT related items
  • Work with outside vendors to support AArete's IT requirements
  • Own mobile device management for the firm including provisioning, decommissioning, inventory and management of laptops and phones for AArete employees, as well as conference room management.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory accurately and help in audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Interface with global IT team for problem resolution
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • 0-4 years of experience working in corporate IT environments
  • Ability to understand business requirements, goals, and objectives and translate them into technology solutions
  • Ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize support tickets and ensure timely resolution
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies that support business needs
  • Experience applying information technology solutions to solve business problems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365, Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems
  • Experience supporting Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other conferencing technologies
  • Experience managing mobile devices
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with Intune device management and/or enterprise RMM tools
  • Self motivated, goal oriented, and action oriented with strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage deadlines and perform effectively in a fast growing environment
  • Willingness to engage in direct client interaction, including travel to client location
  • Applicants must be based in Chicago, IL, and flexible to work from our Chicago office as needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Preferred Requirements

  • Entry level IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or ITCA
  • Experience with automated systems for laptop configuration, zero touch provisioning, and implementation
  • Administrative experience with cloud computing environments
  • Healthcare and/or consulting industry experience

The estimated base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $75,000. In addition to this base salary, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range is a part of a competitive, total compensation package together with our majority employer-paid benefits and incentive pay for eligible roles. Please note that this range is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary due to numerous factors, including but not limited to experience level, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
