IT Associate

About Us

At Applied Behavior Center for Autism, we are dedicated to delivering individualized, evidence-based care to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Position Summary

The IT Associate plays a critical role in supporting and maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure across multiple clinical and administrative locations. This individual is responsible for delivering responsive technical support, ensuring system reliability, and upholding security and compliance standards, including HIPAA.

This role requires a hands-on, service-oriented professional who can manage day-to-day IT operations while contributing to ongoing system improvements and organizational growth.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Operations

  • Provide Tier 1–3 technical support to staff across multiple locations, both onsite and remotely
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues in a timely manner
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, mobile devices, VoIP systems, and IP camera systems
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across enterprise systems

Systems Administration & Maintenance

  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and uptime
  • Perform routine system updates, patch management, and software deployments
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventory, and system configurations
  • Support endpoint management and device lifecycle processes

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA and organizational data privacy policies
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives including MFA, endpoint protection, and access controls
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents as needed
  • Promote best practices in data security and user awareness

Collaboration & Projects

  • Partner with leadership and department teams to identify and implement technology solutions
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including system access and device provisioning
  • Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, infrastructure improvements, and new implementations
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and best practices


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows operating systems and Windows Server environments
    • Google Workspace administration
    • Hardware troubleshooting and end-user support
  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPNs)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to urgent issues
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a healthcare, clinical, or multi-site environment
  • Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems, or practice management platforms
  • Experience with endpoint management tools (RMM, MDM)
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent
  • Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $58,000 – $70,000 annually (based on experience)
