Job description

Technical Workforce Solutions Consultant
Location: Springfield, MA- Hybrid Office/Remote
This is a hybrid role combining new business development with ongoing account management. The right person will be comfortable prospecting, leading client conversations, and negotiating agreements while also maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing accounts. We are looking for someone who wants to build a sustainable book of business and take ownership of client growth over time.
Responsibilities:
Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities
  • Conduct outbound outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings)
  • Lead discovery meetings to understand hiring needs
  • Present contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire solutions
  • Negotiate rates, service terms, and agreements
Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Maintain regular communication and performance check-ins
  • Identify additional hiring needs and expansion opportunities
  • Coordinate closely with recruiting to ensure quality delivery
  • Support contract extensions and conversions
Market Engagement
  • Build a strong presence within a business community
  • Develop referral partnerships and maintain professional networks
  • Travel within the region for client meetings as needed
Qualifications:
  • Staffing industry experience, specifically within IT and professional services, is strongly preferred.
  • Candidates with strong relationship-based sales backgrounds will also be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, staffing, or professional services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable discussing pricing, contracts, and margins
  • Organized and self-directed with solid follow-through
  • Ability to balance prospecting activity with account oversight
