Position Overview:
The System Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing technology solutions to meet organizational needs. This role involves evaluating current systems, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop efficient and scalable solutions. The System Analyst serves as a bridge between business teams and IT, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering and Analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, goals, and challenges.
  • Gather, document, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements for systems.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications.

System Design and Development
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements or new solutions.
  • Develop system workflows, data models, and technical diagrams.
  • Work with development teams to ensure the design aligns with requirements.

Implementation and Testing
  • Oversee the deployment of new systems or updates to existing systems.
  • Coordinate and perform system testing, identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ensure systems meet quality standards and user expectations.

Support and Maintenance

Minimum Education and Experience:

Travel:
  • Approximately 5% or less.

Work Environment & Travel:
  • Daily presence on the production floor required to support assembly operations. Occasional travel (estimated 10-15%) between Acton & Sudbury and other sites within the US is required to align processes, support training, and share standard work across facilities.
  • This is a hands-on role within a precision assembly environment involving CNC machines, automation, and material handling equipment.
  • Must be comfortable working around hoists, forklifts, and industrial machinery while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Flexibility is required to adjust working hours when needed to support critical launch milestones or production schedules.
