A leading industrial solutions provider is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive growth throughout the Fort Wayne market while managing an established customer base.


This is a relationship-driven, customer-facing role where you'll spend approximately 80%-90% of your time in the field meeting with customers, identifying opportunities, and delivering technical solutions. You'll have the freedom to run your territory like your own business while leveraging the support of a strong operational team, modern CRM tools, administrative resources, and technical experts.

What You'll Do


● Achieve sales and margin goals across a comprehensive portfolio of compressed air equipment, systems, and related solutions

● Spend 80%-90% of your time making customer visits, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening existing account relationships

● Build loyalty and long-term partnerships by delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise

● Coordinate with regional and technical resources to develop customer-focused system solutions

● Target competitive accounts and identify opportunities to increase market share throughout the territory

● Develop and execute strategic territory growth plans while maintaining disciplined sales activity levels

● Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline activity, customer information, sales forecasting, and follow-up efforts

What You Bring


● Proven success in outside sales, industrial sales, technical sales, or consultative B2B sales

● Experience in compressed air systems highly preferred

● Additional experience in industrial distribution, pumps, automation, capital equipment, industrial rentals, field service sales, or related industrial markets strongly preferred

● Transferable experience from industrial HVAC, plant maintenance, military, or industrial mechanical environments will also be considered

● Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand customer applications and equipment needs

● Exceptional relationship-building and customer retention skills

● Strong territory management and business development abilities

● Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

● Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

● Self-starter mentality with strong accountability and follow-through

● Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams

● Valid driver's license
