ORDER MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (LEVEL 1) - CONTRACT-TO-HIRE


Job Overview
Contract-to-hire role within the Sales Operations team responsible for supporting the end-to-end order fulfillment process-forecast,
manufacturing slot requests, booking, shipment, and revenue recognition support.
The Order Management Specialist (Level 1) is a primary point of contact for order placement and order administration for assigned accounts,
including customer service, issue resolution, fulfillment requests, sales database updates, and forecast maintenance.
You will also participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve business processes and documentation. Experience with ERP tools (Oracle
EBS), Oracle Sales Cloud, Oracle CPQ, and strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel) are important for success.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with Sales to create, update, and maintain forecast opportunities in Oracle Sales Cloud and Oracle CPQ.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions to support reliable financial reporting and adherence to order
acceptance/SOX policies.
Create and maintain accurate sales orders in Oracle EBS; assist with quotations based on Sales/Marketing input.
Gather, review, and organize order documentation (POs, quotes, technical specs, NDAs, T&Cs, clarification/demo letters) to
support clean bookings and accurate revenue recognition.
Prepare and review Clean Booking Checklists (CBC) and process purchase orders in compliance with SOX policies and
procedures.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Legal to review and interpret customer contracts for compliance with corporate policies.
Work cross-functionally (sales, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, service, shipping) to resolve order issues including
status, parts availability, and PO terms; escalate as needed.
Understand shipping Incoterms and backorder impacts; create and manage shipping documentation as required.
Review customer- or sales-requested lead-time, shipment, or configuration changes and obtain required approvals.
Coordinate communications on shipment status and configuration changes across manufacturing, account teams, and
customers; support customer-specific reporting and work across time zones (APAC/EUR/PST/EST).

Qualifications

1+ years of order management experience or equivalent business experience desired.

Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Preferred experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Sales Cloud, and Oracle CPQ.
Proficient in MS Office (advanced Excel); PowerPoint and Power BI exposure preferred.
