Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Task Order Project Manager to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Serves as the Project Manager for tasks under this PWS, coordinating with the Government KO, COR, Task Order Managers, Program Manager, Government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. Under the Program Manager's guidance, oversees assigned task orders and ensures technical solutions and schedules are executed effectively, on time, and in accordance with task order requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
  • Ability to plan, manage, and oversee task orders, ensuring requirements, deliverables, schedules, and technical solutions are executed effectively and on time.
  • Skill in coordinating with Contracting Officers, CORs, Task Order Managers, program leadership, Government personnel, and customer agency representatives.
  • Ability to understand and oversee the implementation of technical solutions while ensuring alignment with task order requirements and objectives.
  • Skill in monitoring task order progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule and performance commitments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, facilitate collaboration across Government and contractor teams, and support informed decision-making and successful task order execution.

  • Be a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person with the ability to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situations
  • Candidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customers
  • Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision
Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications
  • Five (5) years of project management or related experience, with progressively increasing responsibility in the public and/or private sector, particularly in IT and/or consulting.
  • Five (5) years of leadership experience, with progressively increasing responsibility in the public and/or private sector, particularly in IT and/or consulting.
  • Three (3) years of software development experience using .NET, C#, HTML, and/or Java.
  • Five (5) years of experience evaluating, guiding, and validating technical solutions for software development that support new or enhanced system capabilities.
  • Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science or
  • other relevant field of study
  • PMP or equivalent certification

Physical Requirements
  • Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
