About your role

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will represent Seco Tools across various industries, including automotive, power generation, oil & gas, mold & die, construction, and agriculture. In this regional role, you will:

  • Manage and grow business with both end users and distributor partners.

  • Consult with customers to provide metal cutting solutions tailored to their manufacturing needs.

  • Develop new business and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts.

  • Travel regularly throughout the territory (50-60%) to engage customers and partners.

  • Balance technical solution selling with territory planning, sales administration, and reporting.

Your key focus areas:

  • 60% End User Account Management & New Business Development - Drive growth by developing new customers and expanding business with existing accounts.

  • 25% Distributor Channel Management - Collaborate closely with distributor partners through joint calls, leads, and technical support.

  • 15% Territory Planning and Administration - Manage sales activities, planning, and reporting to drive results.

You bring the following skills, personal traits, and interests:

  • 5-7 years of successful technical, consultative sales experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.

  • Strong technical aptitude with proven experience in metal cutting or manufacturing solutions.

  • Ability to work independently in a home or virtual office environment.

  • Skilled in qualifying, demonstrating, and influencing customers.

  • Proactive, self-directed, and results-oriented with a solution-driven mindset.

  • Willingness to travel extensively inthe region and surrounding areas.

  • Must live inside the geographic assigned territory.
