Technical Director

What does a successful Technical Director do at Fiserv?

At Fiserv, our Technical Directors bridge business systems requirements from the end user to functional implementation of technical solutions. They create requirements specifications (client, user, etc.), specifications of user or market needs; identification or synthesis of technology needed to meet a user or market need.

What you will do:

  • Provide strategic and operational thought leadership for new opportunities that address client needs and pain points.
  • Identify and document requirements and technical scope in partnership with sales, implementation and operations.
  • Collaborate with product and technology teams.
  • Support project management.
  • Interact with the product owners to identify the capabilities and create detail workflows.
  • Translate the workflow orchestration to detail technical requirements for the respective product/application teams.
  • Identify internal, external application owners for the development.
  • Control solution development.

What you will need to have:

  • 9+ years of experience solutioning and delivering large-scale enterprise programs
  • Experience in payment solutions
  • System integration experience
  • Strong client facing and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

What would be great to have:

  • Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries.
  • Public sector experience

  • You will be required to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.

Salary Range

$128,500.00 - $206,400.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Massachusetts, California (excluding Sunnyvale) and District of Columbia. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
