Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineering Technical Director to join our team! In this role you will get to support several key initiatives in Parsons, including our identity solutions portfolio.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead a team of approximately 20 software developers.
  • Work across a software development team and network engineering team to provide project oversight, ensuring deliverables and milestones are met.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager and customer to identify and prioritize program goals and deadlines.
  • Supervise the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure project goals and milestones are delivered on time.
  • Work with the network engineering team to develop and implement metrics collection and diagnostics methodology.
  • Evaluate overall system performance and recommend improvements for long-term viability while minimizing cost.
  • Work with the Operations Lead/Help Desk Team to ensure processes are in place for tracking tickets and issue resolution.
  • Interface with vendors for monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting metrics.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • College Degree (BA/BS or higher) OR an additional five (5) years technical experience serving as a technical lead on a project of similar scope.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years serving as an Engineering Lead/Project Manager and a total of 10+ years in the engineering field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of time.
  • Ability to manage a complex technical project with teams deployed globally.
