Job description

Per Diem, Tech Aide, CT Scan, Emerson Health, Concord, MA

As a Tech Aide in our CT Department, you will be the friendly, professional face that ensures patients feel supported, comfortable, and informed. You will work alongside our CT Technologists, Medical Director, and hospital staff to keep our department running efficiently—helping patients and the team every step of the way.

What You’ll Do

  • Guide and assist patients during their visit, helping with transfers and paperwork flow
  • Prepare patient documentation and requisitions for CT technologists promptly and accurately
  • Serve as a point of contact for patient questions and requests, directing them to the appropriate staff
  • Accurately enter patient data into PACS, ensuring records are up-to-date and complete
  • Uphold patient rights to privacy, dignity, and respectful care at all times
  • Support the CT team with additional duties as assigned to maintain smooth operations

What You Bring to the Team

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: Prior experience in a patient care setting is a plus
  • Licensure/Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider required
  • Skills:
    • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities
    • Proficiency in English, with strong reading, writing, and verbal skills
    • Comfortable using computers and electronic systems
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism
