Job description

Overall Responsibilities: 

The ABA Recruiting Partner is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring qualified clinical talent to support the continued growth of Sunrise ABA. This position will manage the full-cycle recruiting process for ABA-specific positions, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Behavior Technicians (BTs), Mid-Level Practitioners (MLPs), Clinical Supervisors, and other clinical roles.

The ABA Recruiting Partner works closely with Talent Acquisition leadership, clinical leadership, and operational teams to understand staffing needs, develop effective recruiting strategies, and ensure a timely and positive candidate experience.

This role requires a strong understanding of the ABA industry, the ability to manage multiple requisitions and candidates simultaneously, and a proactive approach to sourcing and building talent pipelines.

Primary Functions Include:

Full-Cycle Recruiting:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned ABA and clinical positions.

  • Recruit for roles including RBTs, Behavior Technicians, MLPs, Clinical Supervisors, and other clinical positions.

  • Partner with hiring managers and clinical leadership to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.

  • Conduct intake meetings to understand role expectations, compensation, location, schedule, and hiring timelines.

  • Review applications, conduct candidate screenings, and assess qualifications.

  • Coordinate and facilitate interviews between candidates and hiring teams.

  • Provide recommendations and feedback regarding candidate qualifications.

  • Manage candidates through the recruiting process from initial outreach through offer acceptance.

  • Execute recruiting priorities and requisitions as directed by the Director of Talent Acquisition.

Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development:

  • Proactively source qualified ABA professionals through job boards, professional networks, referrals, social media, universities, and industry-specific resources.

  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for high-demand and hard-to-fill ABA positions.

  • Build relationships with BCBA programs, RBT training programs, universities, and other relevant organizations.

  • Conduct targeted outreach to passive candidates.

  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process.

  • Support recruiting initiatives designed to increase applicant flow and improve hiring outcomes.

Recruiting Strategy & Operations:

  • Partner with the Director of Talent Acquisition to execute recruiting strategies based on organizational staffing needs.

  • Prioritize requisitions based on business and clinical needs.

  • Monitor recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, interviews, offers, and hiring progress.

  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate information within the ATS.

  • Track recruiting metrics and communicate hiring progress to Talent Acquisition leadership.

  • Identify opportunities to improve sourcing strategies, recruiting workflows, and candidate experience.

  • Support high-volume recruiting initiatives and hiring needs associated with new markets or clinic openings.

Collaboration & Partnership:

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to ensure recruiting priorities are aligned with organizational goals.

  • Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to understand staffing needs and hiring challenges.

  • Work with HR and People Operations to support the transition from offer acceptance through onboarding.

  • Partner with recruiting and administrative team members to ensure candidates receive timely communication and follow-up.

  • Provide updates to hiring managers regarding candidate pipelines, interviews, and hiring timelines.

  • Support other Talent Acquisition initiatives and projects as assigned.

Candidate Experience:

  • Provide a professional, responsive, and positive candidate experience throughout the recruiting process.

  • Communicate clearly with candidates regarding interview scheduling, hiring timelines, offers, and next steps.

  • Maintain consistent follow-up with candidates to minimize delays throughout the hiring process.

  • Represent Sunrise ABA's mission, values, culture, and career opportunities to prospective employees.

  • Build strong relationships with candidates and serve as a knowledgeable resource throughout the hiring process.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred.

  • 1–3 years of recruiting experience preferred.

  • Recruiting experience within ABA, behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field strongly preferred.

  • Experience recruiting for BCBA, RBT, Behavior Technician, or other healthcare/clinical positions preferred.

  • Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes.

  • Familiarity with ABA terminology, credentials, and clinical roles preferred.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to travel by car or airplane up to 25%.

  • The ability to travel away from home for up to one week at a time, as requested.

  • The ability to sit for extended periods, including but not limited to 8 hours at a time.

  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods as required.

  • The ability to lift at least 20 lbs.

  • The ability to work for prolonged periods at a desk using a computer.
