Job description

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for developing and executing the Company’s overall talent acquisition strategy. In addition, this is a hands-on role requiring direct involvement in talent acquisition. The role oversees and participates in full cycle recruitment, drives efficiency, builds employer recruitment brand and ensures a positive candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Manager proactively works with HR Business Partners and the Executive Director of HR to address the Company’s specific hiring needs.

Within this general framework, this position is accountable for the following functions:

  • In coordination with the executive director, Manage and oversee full cycle talent acquisition activities across the organization including sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring processes.
  • Will spend most of the time, actively engaged in direct sourcing and recruiting.
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through proactive sourcing and building long term pipelines.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve recruitment strategies, processes and sourcing channels.
  • Responsible for advanced sourcing techniques such as social media networking, affiliation connections, job fairs and school partnerships.
  • Supervise and mentor Talent Acquisition Specialist staff, assign workload, set priorities, ensure execution, and provide updates / metrics.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to define needs and role requirements.
  • Oversee college recruitment program, ensure participation in career fairs or recruitment events representing REMSA Health.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and vendors; facilitate contracts, control posting costs, etc.
  • Keeps executive director apprised of progress and challenges.
  • In coordination with the rest of the HR team, research and develop new opportunities to recruit the workforce.
  • Monitor and report key TA metrics and use data to recommend improvements.
  • Provide excellent external and internal customer service.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, federal employment laws and internal policies.
  • Perform any other duties assigned or requested.

Qualifications/ Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of experience required.
  • 5+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience required, including some time in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • A track record of innovative techniques building talent pipelines is required.
  • Strong recruitment and interviewing skills with exceptional knowledge of internet and social media recruitment required.
  • Prior experience managing a talent acquisition team is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, oral and written communications skills required.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus in Word, Excel & Power Point required.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills required.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws related to talent acquisition is required.
  • AIRS Certification preferred.
  • Able to operate under tight deadlines and quotas.
  • Must be able to deal with sensitive information in a discrete and professional manner.
  • Travel as required.

Supervision Exercised

Exercises supervision over the Talent Acquisition Staff.

This is a full-time position eligible for Company benefits the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
